How does it work?
For wrinkles, open pores and fine lines, the laser works by stimulating collagen production which smoothes out the lines and improves the skin tone and reduces open pores. Our laser nurse practitioner will discuss the most effective treatment for you.
When will I see results?
Effects are cumulative. Improvements may be seen after 2-3 months once the collagen production has been stimulated. These effects will vary depending on the area treated and the individual response.
How often can I have treatments?
Three to six treatments are usually required between two to four weeks intervals. Occasionally, more treatments may be needed for some individuals. Occasional maintenance treatments may be advised for optimal, results.
What can I expect immediately post-treatment?
Immediately following the procedure there may be some redness or swelling. The redness and swelling usually dissipates within a few days. Makeup can be applied to the treated area immediately, if necessary. Additionally, hair growth may be impaired in the treated area, although it is not the intended purpose of this particular treatment. It is extremely important to apply a moisturizer and SPF45 sun block and avoid sun exposure on a daily basis to prevent additional sun damage.
How long will treatment take?
The treatment times vary from 15 minutes to 45 minutes depending on the area being treated.
